Indulgences and the Parable of Usury

Matthew 25:14-30

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; andstraightway took his journey. 16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed 25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Talk about being diametrically opposite to

Jesus Christ

in the Gospel of John!

I believe the true Jesus Christ would never

in a zillion years

have said that parable to anyone.

It’s an abomination!

The Gospel of Matthew gives the impression that Jesus Christ

was an investor wheeler-dealer

and wants us to do the same!

How about business practices?

Would it matter

how one doubled their talent?

Not according to Luke!

Luke 19:22-24

22And he saith unto him,

Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant.

Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

23Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into thebank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with

usury?

24And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.

Two men torch themselves in Italy as hardship bites

Hardship = Austerity=Unmerciful=FAKE

——————————————————-

This is what the real Jesus said:

John 10:9-11

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,

and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life,

and that they might have it more abundantly.11

I am the good shepherd:

the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Does Jesus Christ sound austere?

I Am the True Vine

Jesus Christ was not austere, nor greedy, nor a thief!

Were there banks in Israel when Jesus Christ visited them?

History of Banking

I can’t help think about Jesus Christ

overturning the money changers

at the temple:

John 2:13

13And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.14And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:15And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;16And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.17And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

21But he spake of the temple of his body.

The Parable of Usury quoted in the Gospel of Matthew and Luke are diametrically opposed to the Son of God!

————————————————–

The Old Testament seems to say something totally opposite of the Parable of Usury related in the gospel of Matthew and aped in the gospel of Luke.

Psalm 15:5

5He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Exodus 22:25

25If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

Leviticus 25:35-37

35And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.36Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.37Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

Deuteronomy 23:19-20

19Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:20Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

I guess the Jesus Christ rendered in the gospel of Matthew and Mark will reward the rich, powerful and greedy in these articles linked below!

Do these articles above fulfill the Parable of Usury?

Yes, I believe they fulfill it to the brim! In fact, I would say their cup spilleth over with usury!

Pope Benedict aka Ratzinger fits the mold very nicely!

==============================================

The True Jesus Christ was not a liar or a cheater!

Indulgences are an abomination!

Nowhere in the bible does it say you can buy anything in the Kingdom of the True God!

Revelation 16:21

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Revelation 18:4

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues

Jesus Christ did not come to make slaves, but to free us from slavery. Paul and his followers and their made-up version of Jesus Christ came to make slaves! The Parable above is a lie!

Jesus Christ said that our work is to believe in Him!

Men have added their propaganda in the bible to enslave us! You have to discern what is true and what is false and both are recorded in the bible. That is why it is so important not to rely on scholars, religious zealots, religion, religious leaders, etc. I think that is why Jesus fed the 5000 men his bread and collected 12 baskets of fragments because he knew what men would do to his word.

Now, in the news the Vatican Bank is under investigation for Money Laundering.

OH, REALLY?

Who’d have thought?
